If you’re an artist or tradesperson, a teacher, engineer or cook who is ready to step outside the norm and make a direct connection to country then we’d love to hear from you. Forming a connection to country can happen quickly or it may take time. This is a call to action. Our job is to facilitate that connection. Your job is to make something meaningful of that connection. You’ll learn in our skin kinship system we are all family once we connect. All of Australia.

We are looking for people with a positive attitude who have skills in areas such as the following:

• Design

• Art

• Sustainability

• Food practices

• Trade

• Permaculture

• Architecture

How we connect:

The usual process is to allow for at least one initial visit and then return visits. You will be hosted by an indigenous community with simple camp facilities. You arrive basically self-sufficient so as not to burden the community. On your first Dreaming Australia project you’ll likely make interesting connections with community, who like you are looking for that connection. You are also likely to make a deeper connection and friendship with at least one or two individuals. It may be with a cultural elder, or with a young person and from that encounter may come to the next project. Through creating an artwork we bring together culture and technology in a new dreaming.
